Responsibilities For Accounts Receivable Caller
- Check patients’ insurance eligibility and benefits
- Contact patients and healthcare practitioners by telephone to follow up on accounts receivable.
- Work along with other departments to make sure on time collection of payments
- Properly document in the system all interactions with patients and payers.
- Prepare collections activity reports and update management on status
- Get your billing problems and insurance disputes sorted out
Skills and Qualifications
- Good knowledge of billing and collection practices within healthcare
- 1-3 years of experience as AR Calling/ medical billing
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
